On April 15, 2025, the session "Russia-Africa: Trends and Prospects of Energy Cooperation" will be held within the framework of the Eurasian Oil and Gas Forum. The discussion will take place from 15:00 to 16:30. The organizers are the Eurasian Oil and Gas Forum and the National Coordination Center for International Business Cooperation (NCC).
The format of the event is debatable, which will ensure an open and meaningful conversation between leading industry experts.
The session will be moderated by Pavel Kuznetsov, NCC Vice President.
Representatives of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, the Federal State Budgetary Institution "Russian Energy Agency" of the Ministry of Energy of the Russian Federation, Rosatom Renewable Energy JSC, the Embassy of Libya in the Russian Federation, the Embassy of Angola in the Russian Federation, the Embassy of Egypt in the Russian Federation, the Cairo Chamber of Commerce, the National Oil Corporation of Libya (NOC) are invited to participate in the session.

- Balancing different energy sources for sustainable socio-economic development and providing affordable energy to Africa's growing population;
- The role of oil and gas in African economies in the context of energy transition;
- Optimal development of oil and gas resources and the contribution of Russian-African cooperation to technological development and personnel training;
- Prospects for investment cooperation in the oil and gas sector and in the field of renewable energy sources;
- Interstate cooperation, including cooperation within the framework of BRICS.
The Eurasian Oil and Gas Forum will be held on April 15-17 in Moscow (Expocentre Fairgrounds).
